about

Foot-tapping sing-a-longs, whimsical storytelling and soaring harmonies enchant young audiences through weaving the wonders of nature with original folk tunes. Banjo playing moles and singing trees shine a light on the drippy Pacific Northwest.

lyrics

She wonders when they all gave up,
When apathy ruled the day,
When it is what it is became the phrase
That we all mutter to ourselves
Just to get through the day

So come and play among the trees
Won't you feel the needles and the leaves between the toes of your feet
We’re all ordinary and we miss the beauty
Won’t the striving cease to be

There is a time there is a line
When we cross it we all find
That we’ve been there all along and we inherit
Generations of mistakes
But our families try to build a better life

And were all starving for connection
As the wolves begin to pray
For one more run into the wild
Before it’s lost to pave a way
Just so somebody gets there faster today

So we gotta' laugh real hard
We gotta' love real deep
Nobody owes us anything
We get the chance to bring
Our gifts to the party
It’s already happening

WOAH OH OH WOAH OH OH OH

She looked around and saw that it might fall apart
Instead of throwing in the towel
She responded with her heart
Made a way for all the rest of us
To do our part

None of us have any clue
About what is to come
Oh these seven generations
We’re focused on the ones we’re giving birth to
Making sure their world wont come undone

So we gotta' laugh real hard
We gotta' love real deep
Nobody owes us anything
We get the chance to bring
Our gifts to the party
It’s already happening

WOAH OH OH WOAH OH OH OH

And I believe that if we dream it we will find
That we’ve been there all along
There’s someone on our side
And when we live the joy
The rest will all unwind

With a background performing with the national touring production of hit television show, "Dragon Tales Live," she's no stranger to child entertainment! Weaving theatrical elements with her song and dance numbers, she encourages kiddos to groove along. Jessa starting writing ecology-based songs with her students for a "Wonders of Nature" class for 5-8 year olds through the local learning center, Village Home. The songs explore simple science concepts like seed dispersal, life cycles, and migration through the eyes of the living creatures in their neck of the woods!

As a mama herself, she values throwing the better party by encouraging kiddos to step into their wilder selves, glimpsing the magic in the world around them.
